Housing Types
FDIHB offers one to four-bedroom homes near Tsehootsooi Medical Center for permanent FDIHB Clinical and Priority One staff; please click HERE to take a Google street tour of the housing community. You will be able to view these homes during a scheduled onsite visit.
Tséhootsooí Housing (located next to Tséhootsooí Medical Center)
- One-bedroom duplex with a full bath, single-car garage and backyard: $430.25 per month (utilities not included).
- Two-bedroom duplex with a full bath, two-car garage and backyard: $619.49 per month (utilities not included).
- Three-bedroom single-standing home with 2 full baths, a two-car garage and backyard: $920.86 per month (utilities not included). A 3-bedroom has the same set-up as a 4-bedroom, minus one-bedroom.

Amenities/ Utilities/ Internet:
- Utilities are separate from rent and must be transferred to your name at Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA), located one mile from the hospital.
- For internet, you can choose between Frontier Communications or Starlink. Based on recommendations, Starlink is the preferred option. You will need to contact Starlink directly to arrange for hardware and setup.
- All FDIHB homes are equipped with a gas range stove, refrigerator, and garbage disposal. Please note that you will need to provide your own washer and dryer. However, Home Depot in Gallup, NM, offers delivery and setup services for these appliances.
Wellness Center/ Trail System (Work-Life-Balance)
Nihi Dine'é Bá Wellness Center is located 225 yards from the front entrance of Tséhootsooí Medical Center (on the New Mexico side), is open to employees for year-round fitness activities. Take a virtual tour HERE to explore our facility, built in 2018, which features weights, fitness machines, an indoor running/walking track, a full basketball court, and shower facilities. The Wellness Center also offers various classes, including yoga, spin cycle, and Zumba. Additionally, in collaboration with Navajo Utility Authority's corporate building, we have an outdoor trail system that spans over 3 miles, taking you on a scenic route north of Tsehootsooi Housing and connecting to NTUA's employee trail system.
